There’s something about standing among trees that slows everything down, as if the forest keeps time differently. Time with Trees was created during a contemplative stretch in my studio when I found myself drawn to stillness rather than contrast. Layers of mist and light began to replace the darker tones that were there before, softening the edges between land, water, and air.
