What Remains grew out of a meditation on change — the kind that time and weather insist upon. As I layered the paint, what started as a landscape began to feel more like a transformation, as if the land itself didn't exist this way yet. The forms softened, the colour drained, and only traces were left behind. It’s a painting about what endures when everything else has shifted.
