I painted Red Rock Canyon in that moment when the sun warms the cliffs and the canyon feels both vast and intimate. I worked slowly, layering colour and texture until the rocks seemed to come alive on their own, shifting under the light. There’s a stillness here, yes, but also a quiet energy — a feeling of being present in a place that’s ancient, grounded, and endlessly changing all at once.
