I painted these trees knowing what they give us—and noticing how they are the ones that suffer as awareness fades. The forms shift and blur, not because they vanish, but because they’re caught in a moment of change. In following their outlines and textures, I wanted to honor their presence and reflect on what we risk losing when we stop paying attention.
