This painting is inspired by the shifting weather that defines Nova Scotia’s coast and inland bogs. Standing at the edge of a wet, mossy clearing, the trees become more of a suggestion, dissolving into mist as the light slowly opens in the distance. It aims to capture that brief, hopeful moment when the fog begins to lift, and the landscape offers a glimpse of gentle light ahead.
