I painted Landing Here in that quietly suspended moment when land, sky and water merge and everything else seems to pause. I built up the layers slowly — texture after texture — until the scene felt less like a fixed place and more like an arrival. Calm on the surface, yes, but alive underneath, gently shifting and open.
