I was drawn to the idea of a black moon — that rare moment when the moon hides, and the night feels open and unfilled. In this small square I followed that feeling: subtle textures, soft tones, a space that hints at what’s absent yet full of possibility. The painting became less about what’s missing and more about the quiet presence of that hidden light.
